Computer Tune-Up
The following recommendations may help resolve intermittent problems on supported platforms. For additional information review the Frequently Asked Questions page and the Program overview eStore help topic on Program Settings.
- Shut down the computer on a daily basis.
- Apply Windows updates periodically. Access updates on the Windows Update site.
- Reset Internet Explorer's internet options to the default settings.
- Delete cookies and temporary internet files.
- Set the browser to automatically handle page content.
- Log out, close down the browser and then relaunch the browser and log in again.
- Monitor connection speed and make sure it is not under 26 kb/sec. The website www.bandwidth.com provides a speed test which can sample your internet speed.
- Disconnect and then reconnect to internet.
- Minimize the number of programs running concurrently while connected to the eStore.
- Optimize the hard drive. Utilizing the native disk optimization software and associated scheduling program can simplify the periodic execution of this task.
- Create a back up of your system.

Internet security utilities such as Norton Internet Security may cause the eStore to not work correctly.
